Finally I got to watch Mamma Mia, the musical movie at the newly additional Theater Hall 8, Growball's Cinemax and Fun Square, Centre Point Sabah. There is a 2 ways accessing to Theater Hall 8 either you take a walk up the stairs from Palm Square and a level up thru' the escalators or if you are at the 8th Floor which is the Old Growball's Cinemax, you just walk your way down the stairs.
A Karaoke Restaurant & Lounge and games arcade are also located at the same floor.
Heard that Theater Hall 8 is presently the biggest cinema in Kota Kinabalu. This is my first time entering this new hall. It is love at first sight. I was standing at the entrance which is at the top, looking down the wow view of the wide theater and the lighted stage. The seats are so comfortable and the arm-rests can be lifted up. My RM7.00 per ticket for the show is worth it. The movie is very entertaining and I really enjoy it all thru' out the show. Although the singing are not at their best, but every songs and lyrics are meaningful especially the song, the winner take it all which bring me to tears.
Actually I have been on the look out for the Mamma Mia movie since its opening in other countries. Don't know why it takes so long to show it in our country.
