Underwater Heritage of Sabah

This is my first visit to Aquarium and Marine Muzium situated at the University Malaysia Sabah (UMS) Campus. It is one the best marine aquarium facility in Borneo to date. Luckily for me, it is opened on Sunday and you need to pay RM5.00 for an entrance pass.

Here we go again, New York New York! 3rd time been here, another try for different dish

This is good. Cheese Garlic French Loaf

Mushroom Soup to dip in with. Can have a try.

Salmon tuna sandwich. No 2nd time order.

Fettuccine pasta with fried fish. Look at the size of the fish.

Hawaii chicken ham and pineapple pizza. Thin and crispy pastry. Nice.

Ha ha, haven't try this Giant Yankee Burger yet. Heard that the meat is very juicy and tender. It is their signature dish which is an 8-inches wide, 4-inches high burger with 2 pounds of juicy ground beef served on a large bed of fries. The serving sizes are enough for 4 persons.

Japan Boat Takoyaki at Wisma Merdeka

Japan Boat Takoyaki (aka octopus ball) is very popular here. Since its opening only a few months back, you can still see a lot of customers queuing for the food which is made of flour, a bit of octopus and some vege inside and topping with mayonaise, BBQ sauce, dried bonito flake and wasabi (if you like it hot).
You have to wait a while for your order because they serve you hot straight from the pan.

See, It is so round and fluffy.

There are 3 pieces inside the paper boat. Price : RM2.80

You should eat it hot. It tastes better.

Kobe Cream Puff at Palm Square, CPS

Kobe Cream Puff was opened recently at 4th Floor Palm Square. My daughter bought 4 pieces which costed RM10.00 so we can taste each flavour.

We were given a free voucher. Next purchase will be "buy 3 free 1 of any choice of flavour".

Growball Restaurant

Growball Restaurant is located at the 6th Floor, Palm Square, Centre Point Sabah, Kota Kinabalu.

Before entering you need to buy food coupon. You pay RM6.00 (1 choice of dish) for 1 set lunch and RM10.00 (2 choices of dish) for 1 set Dinner. All dishes are served with Rice.

The interior looks cozy with light music playing. It is a good place to unwind, relax and have your lunch or dinner.

There is a menu on the table where you can tick and order your choice of dish. You can have unlimited flow of soft drinks, iced lemon tea, hot tea and hot coffee and soup.

Malaysian style dishes (no pork) are served here. Nice home cooked food.

Recommended eating here especially if you are going to catch the show at Growball Cinemax during lunch time or before dinner.

Engagement Party

A photo shot of my niece and her fiance all smiles and in blue on their Engagement Party.

The Engagement Party was held at the groom's parents house. Traditionally, the bride's family hosts the social gathering to share the good news with family members and close friends. I guess that now we are in modern era so I think we don't necessary stick to tradition as long as the bride and groom's and their parents have earlier on got together and mutually agreed and accepted the proposal.

Anyway we enjoyed ourselves, having a great time, the food was great, especially the roasted lamb and suckling roasted pork and nice house. And it was also New Year Eve. Ha ha.
