My daughter suggested that we eat our breakfast at Old Town White Coffee as we are heading to City Mall. I normally do my groceries shopping at the Giant Supermarket. Old Town White Coffee is located at the same vicinity i.e. Lot S-0-1, Ground Floor of City Mall along Jalan Lintas which is about 5-10 minutes drive from my place. I ate nasi lemak on my first visit there. I remembered it was very spicy and the curry chicken meat was one piece only.
The Coffee Shop was almost packed, we took our seat at the back which was quite warm, browsed thru' the food menus, hard to decide what to order as there are so many selections. Finally I picked the OldTown Ipoh Chicken Hor Fun Soup. The others ordered Omega Soft Boiled Eggs on Toast, Cheese Polo Bun. As for drinks, we ordered Hot Xi Mut Milk Tea, Cold OldTown White Coffee and Ice Cold Fresh Lemon Tea. We filled out the order form and tried to get the waiter’s attention.The drinks and my order arrived first. Then the polo bun and eggs. We waited for ages for the eggs on toast. We called the waiter to check out our last order as I have since finished eating my food. I couldn't understand why people like to eat here, the service is so bad and the food is so so. What can I say?
